How it works
Safari Booking
Booking a safari with us is a conversation, not a checkout. Here is exactly what happens, from your first message to the moment your driver-guide meets you at the airport.
-
01
Tell us what you have in mind
Dates, how many of you, roughly what you want to spend, and what you most want to see. If you are not sure yet, say so — "sometime in July, two of us, first safari" is enough to start.
-
02
A specialist replies with a plan
Not a brochure. A day-by-day route with the lodges or camps named, the driving explained, and a price broken down so you can see what sits where. Park and conservation fees are listed separately at the current rates, because the parks set them and they change.
-
03
Change anything
Swap a park, add a night in the Mara, move up or down a lodge level, start from Mombasa instead of Nairobi. Most people go back and forth two or three times, and none of it costs anything.
-
04
Confirm your dates
Once the itinerary is right, we hold your camps and vehicle. You get written confirmation listing every booking, with the payment terms set out in full before anything is due.
-
05
We take it from there
Final documents, your driver-guide’s name and number, airport pickup time, and what to pack. On the day, we meet you at arrivals and your safari starts.
What we need from you
- Your travel dates, or the month if dates are loose
- How many adults and children, and the children’s ages
- A rough budget per person, so we pitch the lodges right
- Any dietary needs, mobility needs or medical notes
- Passport details — only once you are confirming, never before
What is in the price
- Transport in a safari vehicle with a professional driver-guide
- Accommodation and meals as listed in your itinerary
- All game drives named in the itinerary, and airport transfers
- Drinking water on safari
- Park and conservation fees — quoted separately at current rates
- International flights, visas and travel insurance
- Drinks, tips and anything marked optional
Park entrance fees are not included and are quoted separately at current rates.
Free and no obligation
Step one takes two minutes.
Send your dates and group size. A specialist will come back with a route, lodges and a clear price, with park fees shown line by line.
Before you book
The questions we get most
Rather just ask?
A safari specialist will answer directly, even if you are months away from booking.
Are park entrance fees included in the price?
No. Park and conservation fees are set by the parks and change from time to time, so we quote them separately at the current rates. Your quote shows them line by line, so there are no surprises.
How do I book?
Send a quote request, WhatsApp or call us. A safari specialist will confirm availability, adjust the itinerary to suit you and send a clear written quote before you commit to anything.
Can you change an itinerary or build one from scratch?
Yes. Every tour can be lengthened, shortened or upgraded, and we build fully tailor-made trips across Kenya and Tanzania for groups, families, couples and solo travellers, on any budget.
Do you organise Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya climbs?
Yes. We arrange climbs on both mountains with experienced, certified guides, and can combine a climb with a safari.
Where do the safaris start?
Most start and end in Nairobi, with airport transfers included. The Tsavo West safari starts from your beach hotel on the Mombasa coast.
