Overview
The quickest way into the Masai Mara. You leave Nairobi after breakfast, drop into the Great Rift Valley, and are on your first game drive the same afternoon. The next morning starts before the dew has gone, which is when the cats are still moving.
It is a lot of driving for one night, and we will say so honestly: if you can spare a third day, the 3-day version gives you a full day in the reserve instead of two half days. But if a weekend is all you have, this works.

Day 1 Nairobi to the Masai Mara
Leave Nairobi after breakfast and drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at the escarpment for the view over the floor of the valley. Lunch at camp, then your first game drive as the light softens.

Day 2 Morning drive, then Nairobi
Tea or coffee before sunrise and out for the long morning drive, when the plains are busiest and the predators are still working. Back to camp for breakfast, then the road home, arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon.
